I did not want Manchester City to win for some sentimental reasons – Burna Boy

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that he never wanted Manchester City to win the Champions League last night for some sentimental reasons, he said.

In a video shared by CBS Sports Galazo on Twitter, were Burna Boy, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, Kate Abdo, Micah Richard and Peter Schmichel all in a round gathering for a post match analysis.

Burna was thrilled by Thierry Henry who exchanged pleasantries with the Nigeria afro beat singer in broken English, saying “How body” Burna Boy responded saying “body dey inside cloth.”

Thierry says the broken English is not new to him because he had been with Kanu Nwankwo, a former teammate at Arsenal.

Burna Boy became the first African to perform in the final of the UEFA Champions League after his terrific performance last night.

Kate Abdo asked Burna Boy how the game was.

Burna replied saying: “it was the amazing thing even though I didn’t want City to win for a sentimental reason, you feel? But it’s okay”

Jamie Carragher and others continued to thrill the Afro beat singer as they sung his song and tried to imitate his dance steps.
