How Nigeria Will Use Technology To Fight Corruption – Tinubu

—

In a significant stride towards combating corruption, President Bola Tinubu has affirmed Nigeria’s dedication to leveraging technology for transparency and efficiency in government operations.
Meeting with Microsoft Founder Bill Gates at the World Economic Forum Special Meeting in Riyadh, President Tinubu highlighted the pivotal role of technology in thwarting corruption and enhancing public service delivery.
Drawing from his experience in Lagos State, he emphasized the transformative impact of technology on revenue collection and governance.
“Technology is the enemy of fraud, corruption, and irregularity. We have been working hard on improving technology.
“There is always the initial resistance. Corruption, self-interest, and fraudulent activity will always be an enemy, but when you bend that curve, you will receive the benefit. The nation will receive the benefit,” the President said.
