Nollywood veteran Victoria Inyama revealed how her former spouse, Godwin Okrim, frequently came home with his girlfriend during their marriage, sharing her ordeal of enduring constant domestic abuse at his hands. In a conversation with Chude Jideonwo, she recounted instances of her ex-husband bringing his girlfriend home to intimidate her, even to the point where the girlfriend would dictate what meals she should prepare.
When asked about her partner:
Chude: “So your husband was bringing his girlfriends home?”
Victoria: Oh wow, yes. There was even one instance where the girl was telling me what to cook.
“I should not be cooking meat; I should be cooking fish. Fish is more healthy. I was just looking at this girl, and they were ‘working together.”
