Renowned Hausa musician, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, paid a visit to Borno State on Wednesday to show his support and sympathy for the victims of the recent floods that have devastated the region.
The floods, which claimed numerous lives and destroyed properties, have left many residents in dire conditions.
During his visit, Rarara met with the Shehu of Borno, one of the state’s most revered traditional leaders, as well as the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum.
The purpose of his visit was to express his heartfelt condolences to the people of Borno who have been affected by the disaster.
In addition to his words of sympathy, the famous musician also made a generous donation of N10 million to aid those who have been displaced or have suffered losses due to the floods.
This financial contribution is intended to help the victims as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.
Rarara’s visit and donation were met with deep appreciation by the people of Borno, including both the traditional and political leaders of the state.
