Kaduna state Governor Senator Uba Sani said he’s not ignorant of the neglect experienced by the people of Kaduna South and Southern Kaduna, stating that he is not oblivious to their plight

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, said this while addressing a gathering at the Kaduna crusade organized by The King Worship Chapel and Ministry International.

Speaking at the event held at the polytechnic field, express bypass, opposite Ejeg filling station, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna state, Governor Sani acknowledged the historical neglect faced by the people of Southern Kaduna.

He emphasized his commitment to changing this narrative and ushering in a new era of unity and prosperity for the state.

Represented by the Senior Special Assistant on Religious Matters and the President of the Baptist Conference Kaduna, Rev. Dr Ishaya Adamu Jangado, Governor Sani expressed his administration’s willingness to receive constructive criticism and support initiatives aimed at fostering religious tolerance and unity.

He stressed the importance of the government’s role in ensuring equality, happiness, and safety for all citizens, regardless of their background.

Governor Sani urged the Christian community to actively promote peace and peaceful coexistence within the state.

I am not ignorant of the neglect people of Kaduna South and Southern Kaduna have endured in the past, but I have come today that we may together change the narratives about our State and open a new chapter in our Statehood.

“I assure you that our Government is open to constructive criticism and ready to support noble ideas and initiatives that are aimed at advancing the course of unity, religious tolerance and form of prosperity in our dear State”, he stated.

He emphasized the need for collective prayer for the peace of homes, Kaduna State, and Nigeria as a whole.

Delighted to be part of such an important crusade, Governor Sani highlighted the spiritual significance of his participation.

He reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling his oath of office by being a governor for all residents of Kaduna State, promising fairness and sincerity in his leadership.

“Since my assumption of office as a Governor of Kaduna State, I have made personal resolve to stick to my oath of office which suggest that I will be a Governor to the entire people of Kaduna State and not a part of it, and that I will be fair to all and sundry.

“I consider my accepting to be in this gathering to be the beginning of another journey in our collective quest for a more united and peaceful Kaduna State. Our Government’s approach under my watch as a Governor is to run a State where all citizens are equal, happy and safe.”

Reflecting on the conclusion of elections and litigations, Governor Sani emphasized the pressing task of unifying the people and providing quality leadership.

He called for honest and sincere engagement with citizens, irrespective of their ethnic or religious backgrounds.

Governor Sani’s acceptance to attend the event within two months of assuming office was seen as a clear demonstration of his dedication to restoring public confidence in the government.

“My acceptance to come and be part of this solemn assembly is less than two month and i honour the invitation, this shows a pellucid testament of my commitment to restore the people’s confidence in Government.”

This commitment, he emphasized, is essential for fostering a sense of trust and unity among the people of Kaduna State.
