AS Roma has announced the signing of Saudi Arabian defender Saud Abdulhamid from Al Hilal on a permanent deal.

Born in 1999, Abdulhamid is a versatile player capable of operating on both flanks. He is known for his direct style, frequently making dangerous runs down the wings and posing a significant threat in the opponent’s final third.
His impact was evident last season when he played a crucial role in Al Hilal’s league title victory, contributing three goals and five assists in 32 Saudi Pro League matches.
As the first Saudi Arabian footballer in Serie A history, Abdulhamid will wear the number 12 shirt for Roma.
