Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Comrade Solomon Dalung, has said the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will prioritise accountability, technology-driven security and youth development if elected to lead Nigeria in 2027.
Dalung stated this during a podcast, Conversations with Professor Jideofor Adibe, while discussing the state of the nation and the road to the 2027 elections.
According to him, the ADC is committed to ensuring that public officials remain accountable to Nigerians, stressing that “nobody is above scrutiny and accountability.”
He said, “There is an excesses of people elected, especially with this government. They feel they are above the people that elected them.”
On security, the former minister said the ADC would adopt a modern approach by deploying technology and contemporary warfare strategies to tackle insecurity.

“ADC tends to look at security from a different perspective, using contemporary warfare that requires technology, employing technology to fight insecurity instead of this kinetic and non-kinetic method that embodies crime and insecurity,” he said.
Dalung also said the party would prioritise youth development and create platforms to give younger Nigerians greater opportunities to participate in governance and national development.
