Entrepreneurs Charged on Discipline, Mentorship, Collaboration at UDUF Africa Meeting

Entrepreneurs, professionals, and aspiring business leaders have been urged to cultivate the character of discipline, consistency, and focus to achieve all-around success.

The call came from a pro-youth group, the UDUF Africa at Onitsha Business School, during the April Business Meeting and Mentorship Session.

The meeting drew a vibrant mix of participants eager to gain practical insights, mentorship, and strategies for personal and business growth.

Speaking during the event, President and Chief Executive Officer of Orange Express Ltd, Chief Okwudilichukwu Moedu, underscored the importance of mindset in achieving success, noting that growth rarely occurs within one’s comfort zone.

In his presentation titled “From Hustle to Success: Real Success Stories and Strategies from a Successful Trader,” Moedu emphasized the importance of internal preparation for external success.

He also highlighted the value of mentorship, reflecting on the influence of his father in shaping his entrepreneurial journey.

According to him, collaboration and strategic partnerships are essential, just as he warned against operating in isolation.

On financial management, Moedu cautioned against leaving money idle, describing uninvested funds as unproductive.

He encouraged entrepreneurs to invest wisely, align their ventures with market demands, and leverage technology to drive growth in an increasingly digital economy.

Also speaking during a book review session on the globally acclaimed success guide, ‘Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, the facilitator, Precious Ani, provided a practical breakdown of the book’s 13 principles of success, including desire, faith, persistence, and effective decision-making.

He guided participants in applying the principles to achieve sustainable results in both personal and professional endeavors.

The founder of UDUF Africa, Ezuma Chinedu charged attendees to be intentional about their goals and ambitions.

He stressed that success requires valuing one’s business or career with the same level of commitment given to other important aspects of life.

Describing UDUF Africa’s business meetings as transformative platforms designed to inspire action, foster leadership, and create opportunities for mentorship and strategic networking, Ezuma reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to empowering individuals and nurturing visionary leaders across the continent.

“As UDUF Africa continues to expand its reach, it remains firmly positioned as a leading force in leadership development, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment in Africa, dedicated to raising the next generation of change-makers,” he added.

The highlight of the event was interactive sessions on parliamentary-style discussions and networking activities that promoted collaboration and knowledge sharing.
