The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa has invited heads of various security and intelligence agencies to a meeting in Abuja on Tuesday August 6.
Reports say the meeting which may not be unconnected with the ongoing nationwide protest already has in attendance, the Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force.
Also present at the meeting include the Inspector General of Police, the Comptroller-General of Customs, Directors-General of the Department of State Services, National Intelligence Agency and the Chief of Defence Intelligence.
Others include the Controller General of Corrections, Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service.
The #Endbadgovernance Protests which have turned violent with some demonstrators calling for regime change in some parts of the country, also saw some protesters flying the Russian flags, a development the security authorities have described as treasonable.
