Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has criticized Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in his new song “Emilokan.”
In the song, Abdulkareem accuses Pastor Adeboye of hypocrisy. He points out that Adeboye protested against bad governance during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s time but now blames Nigeria’s problems on spiritual issues under President Tinubu.
Abdulkareem calls on Adeboye to organize a large protest against Tinubu’s government, just as he did during Jonathan’s regime. He suggests it’s time for Adeboye to speak out against the current administration.

The rapper’s lyrics directly address Adeboye: “Where is our daddy, Pastor Adeboye? During Goodluck Jonathan’s regime, your voice was loud. You even vowed to stage a one-million-man march. Now, with hunger and hardship under Tinubu’s government, you say Nigeria has spiritual problems.”
Abdulkareem continues, “We need your one million disciples to protest against President Tinubu’s government just as you did against President Jonathan. Daddy, are your disciples’ legs hurting?”
He concludes by labeling Adeboye’s stance as hypocrisy and urging him to speak the truth to power to help alleviate the suffering of Nigerians.
