Award-winning singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu professionally known as Burna boy, has opened up on reasons for his bachelorhood.
In an old video unraveled by Netizens, the self-acclaimed African Giant was seen stating that he has not found the proper spouse and is still single.
“He is trusting God to bring him a wife who makes sense.” he said.
The afrobeat star stated that he disliked it when women tried to use lies and false agenda just to be with him.
“If God say make I marry, I will marry. Na God dey do all, me I just dey follow. I don’t hate nobody, I just don’t like it when they used lies and agendas.” He added.
Recall that Burnaboy and Eedris AbdulKareem had a spat on Saturday 17 February on social media following the release of a teaser podcast recording featuring Eedris AbdulKareem.
Eedris had replied to Burna Boy’s earlier claims that no Nigerian artiste supported him early in his career as he was a lone ranger and a self-made artiste.
Veteran musician and rapper, Eedris AbdulKareem, has berated Burnaboy for his attack on him, especially his previous health challenge, saying the Grammy award winner will hear from him through a diss song titled, ‘Essay To Burnaboy’ billed to be released in the next two weeks.
Eedris, who went through a kidney transplant surgery procedure two years ago, and had gone underground in the music industry since then, responded to Burnaboy via his Instagram handle, @abdulkareemeedris, saying:
“Wishing me dead or any other person is saddening and disappointing. Making fun of my health crisis and blaming people that helped to keep me alive is very shameful. Threatening my life is a different ball game but for you to play God? That’s the most nauseating prank of all times.”
This mild rivalry between the two singers has continued to generated mixed reactions from netizens.
