BREAKING: Military forces ambush Boko Haram terrorists, eliminating one

The soldiers from the 73rd Battalion, part of the 7th Division Garrison in Operation Hadin Kai, successfully carried out an ambush against Boko Haram terrorists in Luskori village, located in the Konduga Local Government Area of Borno.

As detailed in a report by counterinsurgency expert Zagazola Makama on Sunday, this operation took place on January 20, starting at approximately 1430 hours.

The troops strategically positioned themselves, anticipating the arrival of the marauding terrorists.

Subsequently, a fierce firefight ensued, resulting in the neutralization of one terrorist, while the others managed to escape, albeit sustaining gunshot wounds.

The courageous troops not only thwarted the threat but also seized valuable items from the terrorists, including 1 AK-47 rifle, 1 AK magazine, and 9 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition.

This successful engagement showcases the dedication and effectiveness of the military personnel in their ongoing efforts to combat insurgency in the region.
