Breaking: Fire Guts Borno Governor’s Office

On a Tuesday morning, 12th of December, 2023, an unexpected fire outbreak occurred at the Governor’s office in Borno State.

The primary office of Governor Babagana Zulum was impacted by the incident. Fortunately, Governor Zulum was not present at his main office; instead, he was at his alternative office at the Musa Usman Secretariat when the fire broke out.

Prompt response from the fire service was evident, with their vehicles seen at the government house in an attempt to extinguish the flames.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere outside the government house became tense as police personnel stationed at the main entrance prevented vehicles, workers, and members of the press from entering the premises, likely due to safety and security concerns.

The incident has raised questions and concerns about the extent of the damage to the Governor’s office and the potential impact on official activities.

Investigations are likely to follow to determine the cause of the fire and assess the necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future.

The community and the public await further updates on the situation and hope for a swift and effective response to mitigate any adverse consequences.
