BREAKING: FG to provide cash transfers to 12M Nigerians amid economic hardship

The government said they’re going to give money directly to the poorest and most vulnerable people in Nigeria again.

The Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, spoke about this during a meeting in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state on February 21.

They want to restart giving money to those who need it most because the economy is not doing well.

Edun said, “We want to give money to more people who are struggling because of the bad economy. We’ve already been helping about 3 million people, but now we want to help another 12 million households.”

The goal is to help more people who are having a hard time with money and to reduce poverty.

They want to make sure the money goes directly to the people who need it and that it’s easy for them to get it.

Edun also said they will use technology to make the payments faster and to avoid any mistakes.

They don’t want to use manual processes because they can be slow and cause delays. They want to start giving the money again as soon as possible.
