One person has been killed and 14 others injured after an explosion at the southern Iranian port of Bandar Abbas on Saturday, Iranian media reported.
Authorities said the cause of the blast remains unknown and investigations are ongoing. Iranian outlets dismissed social media claims of an attack on an IRGC naval commander as false.
In a separate incident, four people reportedly died in a gas explosion in Ahvaz. Israel denied any involvement, while the U.S. Pentagon declined immediate comment amid heightened regional tensions.
