Emir of Zuru, Major General Muhammad Sani Sami, Dies at 82

 Emir of Zuru, Major General Muhammad Sani Sami, Dies at 82

The Emir of Zuru in Kebbi State, General Muhammad Sani Sami (rtd.), has passed away.
Born in 1943, he joined the Nigerian Army in 1962 and rose through the ranks. In 1984, he was appointed the military governor of Bauchi State. He retired from active service as a Major General in 1990.
