Boko Haram Insurgents Killed by the Nigeria and Cameroon Troops

The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa in a statement has confirmed the death of 27 members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram. They  were killed during a joint clearance operation by the Nigeria and Cameroon Troops.

In his statement, Col. Musa mentioned that the clash took place in the Northern Part of Wulgo, Tumbuma, Chikun Gudu and Bukar Maryam villages.

Some of the items recovered include, four Rocket Propelled gun tubes, one M21 rifle, one locally made dane gun, 1,000 assorted rounds of different calibre ammunition, one PK machine gun, five Rocket Propelled gun tube bombs.

Alongside these, five AK 47 magazines, several links of 12.7 MM, one Nissan GT, several motorcycles, one flag and a grinding machine, a land Cruiser which was destroyed, a land Cruiser Buffalo were also recovered among others.

Col. Musa has also confirmed that no casualties were recorded on the part of the Nigerian and Cameroonian Troops.
