Bluesky Introduces New Features

Bluesky, the social platform owned by ex Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, now lets users check out posts without logging in.

But to create an account and post, an invitation is still needed.

Users can link or share Bluesky posts on blogs, plus send them in chats, individually or in groups.

There is a new setting to control visibility for those not logged in, but it only works on Bluesky’s site and app.

Making your profile private ensures your posts stay hidden from a bigger audience.

CEO Jay Graber revealed a cool new butterfly emoji logo inspired by users’ love for the butterfly emoji in their Bluesky names.

Bluesky has hit 2 million users after launching apps for iOS and Android. They have also added better moderation tools to handle content issues.

Right now, Bluesky is a single instance on the AT Protocol but plans to join a federation next year. This could mean more servers with different rules.
