Bandits Kidnap Several Farmers in Kebbi State

Several farmers have reportedly been abducted by suspected bandits in the Wasagu and Dadin Kowa communities of Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State after armed men invaded their farmlands while they were working.
The attacks reportedly took place on Wednesday and Thursday, according to local sources. The exact number of victims has yet to be confirmed, while the whereabouts and condition of those abducted remain unknown.
Residents said the repeated attacks have intensified fear across the affected communities, with many expressing concern over the worsening security situation in the area.
Community members have renewed calls on security agencies and relevant authorities to strengthen security operations in Danko-Wasagu LGA and ensure the safe rescue of those abducted, as well as protect farmers who continue to face threats while carrying out their daily activities.
