Twitter is making a big change to its platform that will lead to purge of thousands of dormant accounts. The social networking company on Wednesday announced that it is going to remove accounts that have not logged in for more than six months. The move could lead to freeing up of thousands usernames as well. Twitter said it will start sending emails to these dormant account holders with a prompt asking to sign in before December 11 to keep the account active. Nigeria’s economic growth rose to an annual rate of 2.28% in the three months to the end of September after the production of its main export commodity, crude oil, rose to a more than three year high, the statistics office said on Friday. Six police officers were shot and wounded in the US city of Philadelphia on Wednesday during an hours-long incident that began when police tried to execute a narcotics warrant, the Philadelphia Police Department said.
