One Sekinat Soremekun, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Lagos State. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed the outbreak of Dengue fever in Sokoto State on Saturday 16th December 2023. Authorities of the University of Ilorin Kwara state has succumbed to pressure by the Student Union management of the institution to reduce the tuition fees paid by students.
