The All Progressives Congress has announced the successful upload of all its governorship, deputy governorship and State House of Assembly candidates onto the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Candidate Nomination Portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, describing the exercise as a significant milestone for the ruling party.
Yilwatda congratulated the party’s leaders, members and candidates across the country on the completion of the nomination process.

“I am pleased to announce that the All Progressives Congress has successfully achieved a 100 percent upload of all our 56 governorship and deputy governorship candidates, as well as 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates, on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal,” he said.
He said the completion of the exercise demonstrated the APC’s preparedness for the next stage of the electoral process.
According to him, the achievement reflects the party’s organisational strength and commitment to complying with the electoral timetable.
Yilwatda added that the APC would now focus on engaging Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections while showcasing the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
