Legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba and serving Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru are finally married!.
Speaking to The News Chronicle, a TikToker Prixy, expressed dismay at the development:
“It’s amazing to me how Natasha will marry a man that has had a long marriage with Annie which she is aware of, not to mention his kids. Annie is better off without him.”
Another content creator added:
“I guess to every man his own.”
The couple, whose engagement was announced in February 2025, just days after 2Baba confirmed his split from Annie, were seen in the trending video posing with their traditional wedding cake during a private ceremony reportedly attended by close family members in Abuja on Thursday, July 25th.

The wedding so far has generated a flood of online reactions, many questioning 2Baba’s emotional readiness and the speed of his decisions:

2Baba (Innocent Idibia) and Annie Macaulay met in the late 1990s, and despite several breakups and 2Baba’s relationships with other women, Annie remained a constant presence in his life.
They got married in 2013 in a high-profile wedding in Dubai. Together, they have two daughters: Isabel and Olivia.
However, 2Baba has seven children in total from three different women, including Annie.
His relationships and fatherhood outside the marriage were a frequent source of controversy and strain, contributing to public drama and ultimately their separation in early 2025.
Speaking on the Mzansi Podcast in June 2025, 2Baba said of their decade‑long union:
“Both of us, we gave it our best and why we’re not together today is not something I’m going to start talking about. Me and her, we get our own understanding, she’s amazing like I said earlier, it just wasn’t working.”
