Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Maryanne Ahneeka Iwuchukwu, criticized Season 7 winner Phyna for publicly complaining about not receiving all her prizes.
Phyna recently accused the show’s organizers of not giving her the 1 BTC (Bitcoin) prize owed to her, now worth over N100 million.
In response, Ahneeka said it was unwise for Phyna to call out the organizers in public.
Speaking on the ‘Terms & Conditions’ podcast, Ahneeka argued that Phyna and other winners shouldn’t feel entitled to their prizes.
She explained, “When you leave Big Brother’s house and suddenly have millions of followers, you might feel invincible. It takes careful thought and management to keep going.
“If the organizers owe Phyna money, it’s still a job. She should have tried to resolve it privately. If that didn’t work, then maybe she had to go public, but I still don’t think it’s wise. She could have easily not won at all.
“People saying she deserves the money should remember, nobody is guaranteed that prize.”
