Adamawa CAN Chairman Denies Rumors, Says He Is Safe and Healthy

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Adamawa State has urged the public to disregard false reports claiming that the state CAN Chairman was attacked or harmed.
In a statement obtained by The News Chronicle on Saturday, CAN confirmed that the Chairman is safe, healthy, and continuing his official duties.
The association called on security agencies to investigate those behind the false information, warning that such rumors could disrupt peace and unity in the state.
The confusion is believed to have arisen from the tragic killing of the Michika CAN Chairman by Boko Haram five years ago.
CAN appreciated the Adamawa State Police Command for promptly addressing the issue and encouraged a thorough investigation to prevent similar misinformation in the future.
