Mercy Aigbe appreciates fan

It is said that most times you are your own obstacle if you don’t try, well that is true in the case of Mercy who took a leap of fate and now it’s basking in euphoria of how successful the project turned out.

As her debut feature film, “Ada Omo daddy,” approaches the remarkable milestone of 145 million views, well-known Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe continues to rejoice.

On Friday, December 15, “Ada Omo daddy” was released. Prior to its release, the film had set two records for the highest Nollywood opening weekend for an independent distributor and the second-best opening weekend for Nollywood 2023.

By using the hashtag “strong and counting,” the 46-year-old actress informed her followers of the good news.

Mercy is beyond thankful and her words carried how she felt. Here is what she wrote:

“Overwhelming gratitude!. We are incredibly grateful to all of our amazing Nigerian fans and everyone who has witnessed the enchantment on the big screen for our movie, which just achieved an astounding 145 million at the box office.

We are really grateful for your support during this journey, and we look forward to many shared movie-going experiences. Cheers to the narrative power and the incredible cinema community that brought this milestone to life!

This is Mercy’s first cinematic project, before now she has produced other films especially for YouTube and then she decided to jump on this project and it’s doing great in the cinemas.
