A.A Rano Group Contributes N50 Million to Support Maiduguri Flood Relief Efforts

The A.A Rano Group, a leading oil and gas company in Nigeria, has generously donated N50 million to assist with ongoing relief efforts for the victims of the devastating floods that recently hit Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State. 

The Chairman of A.A Rano Group, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, personally visited Maiduguri to express his heartfelt sympathy to the people of the state.

During his visit, he met with Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, and conveyed his condolences to the good people of Borno over the severe flood disaster that has affected many lives, properties, and livelihoods.

Alhaji Rano emphasized the importance of standing in solidarity with those impacted by the disaster, noting that the N50 million donation is part of the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

He assured the state government and the people of Borno that the A.A Rano Group would continue to support efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering caused by the floods.

Governor Zulum expressed his deep appreciation for the company’s gesture and reassured the people of Borno that the funds would be used to provide much-needed relief to those affected by the flooding.
