Ghanaian actress and fashion designer Nana Akua Addo reportedly received hospital treatment on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, after videos showed her with injuries that her husband allegedly caused.
The footage shows a swollen lip, a cut under one eye, and blood on her clothes and on the floor. Local media have not named the hospital or the place of the incident in Ghana.
Other clips show a man, reported to be her husband Harold Duodu Norman, slapping their daughter. In one video, Addo cries, “Kill my child for me.” A separate clip shows her arguing with her brother-in-law, who accuses her of infidelity in front of her mother-in-law and her husband.
The police have allegedly arrested Norman; however, a formal statement has not been issued by the Ghana Police Service. Neither Nana Addo nor Norman has shared a statement.
Meanwhile, Norman’s lawyers have since denied the assault claims. They say the injury dates from 2021, when Addo accused him of infidelity and allegedly tried to stab him. No independent source has verified this account.
Addo has made no formal statement. She reportedly asked a blogger to remove the video for the sake of her daughters. Her friend Mona Gucci posted on Instagram that Nana Addo was “precious to me before the spotlight.”
Addo and Norman married in a private civil ceremony in March 2022. She has said before that infidelity strained the marriage and that they stayed together for their daughters.

Many fans on X are telling Nana Addo to leave the marriage. One wrote, “HE’S DOING GREAT N SHE’S HERE BLEEDING!” Others asked why her relatives had not acted.
The news comes as a shock, as Nana Akua Addo is known for bold, sculptural, showstopping outfits at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). Nigerian audiences have followed her looks for years, with Ghanaian media often calling her a “red carpet queen.”
