Natasha Osawaru, estranged wife of singer 2Baba and Minority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, has given the public its first proper look at the son she shares with the music star, in a video posted on September 9.
The clip shows Natasha on a stroll with her infant son and his nanny, captioned “My heartbeat.” It will be one of the first times the child has appeared publicly since his birth, and comes at a moment when speculation about the couple’s marriage has been building for weeks.
Natasha married 2Baba, born Innocent Idibia, in a traditional ceremony in July 2025, shortly after his split from his ex-wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, became public. Since then, the couple’s appearances and social media activity have drawn close attention from fans.
The rumors gathered pace on August 9, during the opening of Faze’s new venue, 90’s Lounge, in Abuja, where 2Baba was booked to perform. According to eyewitness accounts, Natasha had reportedly been unable to reach 2Baba for months before this, and on learning he’d be at the event, she went to the venue and waited for him to arrive. A source from 2Baba’s management team alleged that she arrived with security personnel, with some accounts claiming there were around 20 men, and that the group attempted to prevent him from entering. 2Baba reportedly brought Natasha inside “in order not to cause a scene,” and police were said to have intervened before he went on to perform.
Natasha’s first public response wasn’t a statement; rather, she shared an Instagram story. 2Baba then unfollowed Natasha on Instagram and refollowed his ex-wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, over that weekend.
The clip drew a wide range of responses on X. Several users focused on the baby himself rather than the marriage speculation, with one comment noting the child “looks so calm and loved” and another observing that, amid all the coverage, the baby is “the only stable thing in this story.”

Two days before the baby video on September 7, Natasha had posted a separate clip showing her arriving at her office, signing documents and greeting colleagues in a black jacket and trousers. She captioned it “tiger mood,” a phrase many followers read as a pointed response to the gossip surrounding her marriage, though the video made no direct reference to it.
However, neither 2Baba nor Natasha has addressed the rumors directly. The new video of their son offers no confirmation either way.
