The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Adamawa State Command, has arrested two suspected members of a kidnapping syndicate and recovered N34 million in cash from them.
The suspects were reportedly apprehended during an operation carried out by immigration personnel in the state.
The NIS said the arrest was part of its ongoing efforts to disrupt criminal networks and strengthen security across Adamawa State.
The recovered N34 million is believed to be connected to the activities of the suspected kidnapping syndicate, while investigations are ongoing to determine the source and intended use of the money.

The suspects are expected to be handed over to the appropriate security authorities for further investigation and possible prosecution.
The command reaffirmed its commitment to supporting other security agencies in tackling kidnapping and other criminal activities in the state.
