Nigerian singer Nasboi has raised fresh concerns over the country’s deepening insecurity, declaring that Nigerians are living in fear and trauma as violent attacks continue across several parts of the country.
In a lengthy video shared online, the entertainer urged citizens to set aside tribal, religious and political differences and unite against what he described as a growing national crisis.
Nasboi stressed that insecurity does not discriminate, warning that bandits and other criminal elements are targeting people regardless of tribe, religion or social status.
“The government has failed us. Nigerians are traumatised,” he said, questioning the effectiveness of security efforts in states plagued by recurring attacks and kidnappings.
The singer warned that if the situation continues to deteriorate, no one, including the wealthy and influential would be spared from its consequences.
He also called on Nigerians to speak up, demand accountability from leaders, obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), and actively participate in shaping the country’s future.
According to him, this is not the time for hatred or division but for collective action aimed at finding lasting solutions to Nigeria’s worsening security challenges.
