Nigerian actress and media personality Temi Otedola has shared some of the lighthearted moments from her pregnancy journey with husband Mr. Eazi following the couple’s recent baby announcement.
The announcement was confirmed in an exclusive interview published by PEOPLE Magazine on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Temi said she and her husband, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, 34, discovered the pregnancy during a two-month honeymoon across South Korea and Japan at the end of 2025.
The trip followed three wedding ceremonies held in different countries earlier that year: a court wedding in Monaco, a traditional Nigerian wedding in Dubai, and a church wedding in Iceland.
Speaking about the discovery, Temi said:
“After wrapping up three weddings in 2025 — a court in Monaco, a traditional Nigerian wedding in Dubai, and a church wedding in Iceland — we wanted to end the year with a 2-month, digital-detoxed honeymoon, traveling across Korea and Japan. That’s when we found out.”
The 30-year-old fashion model also spoke about how she and Mr. Eazi have approached preparations for the baby, including discussing names almost daily.
“My husband and I send each other names all the time on WhatsApp,” she said.
According to Temi, both families are also contributing suggestions in line with Nigerian naming traditions.
The actress described the early stage of pregnancy as physically demanding, especially during the first trimester.
“For the first trimester, I was really feeling the fatigue and morning sickness — well, all day sickness,” she said.
She added that her energy levels have improved in recent months and that she now feels “stronger and more energized.”
Temi also explained that pregnancy has caused her to slow down her routine and spend more time with family and close friends.
The couple reportedly shared the news privately with loved ones by presenting ultrasound printouts during visits and gatherings across different countries.
Meanwhile, Temi’s sister, DJ Cuppy, reacted publicly after the announcement. On May 22, 2026, the disc jockey posted on X:
“My sister @TemiOtedola is pregnant. I’m going to be an Aunty.”
The message drew reactions from followers congratulating the Otedola family and the couple.
