Hon. Regina George Akume, wife of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has officially purchased the nomination form to contest for a Senate seat in Benue State.
Regina Akume, aged 71, previously served as First Lady of Benue State during the administration of her husband, Senator George Akume, who governed the state from 1999 to 2007. She is currently a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency.
