Stan Alieke Cuts Ties with Speed Darlington

The lawyer-client relationship between Speed Darlington and his legal representative, Stan Alieke, has officially hit the rocks.

Taking to Instagram, Stan Alieke announced that his law firm, Law Capitol, will no longer represent the controversial singer. In a brief but clear post, he wrote:

“I and my law firm (Law Capitol) have officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr. Darlington Achakpo, PKA Speed Darlington/Akpi, and cease to act as his legal attorneys.”

This shocking development comes just a week after Speed Darlington’s release from Kuje Prison, where he spent two months in detention following allegations of cyberstalking fellow artist Burna Boy.

Stan Alieke’s decision to cut ties has fueled online chatter, especially considering the drama surrounding Speed Darlington’s arrest and imprisonment. During his detention, Alieke publicly accused Burna Boy of using his financial clout to keep Speed Darlington behind bars, suggesting that bribes were involved to prolong the situation.

Now, fans and critics alike are left wondering: What went so wrong that Alieke chose to step away from representing the embattled artist?
