The Confederation of African Football (CAF) continued its nominations for the 2024 prestigious award night, focusing on the Women’s categories shortly after concluding the men’s category.
Super Falcons captain and shot-stopper Rasheedat Ajibade and Chiamaka Nnadozie were the two players from Nigeria’s senior women’s team to make the shortlist after titleholder Asisat Oshoala missed out on this year’s nominations.
Also, Nigeria’s women’s national team, U-17, and U-19 teams were all nominated for the National Team of the Year Award.
