Governor Dauda Lawal on Tuesday, warmly welcomed the Zamfara Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), CC Iliyasu Tijani, to the Government House in Gusau, Zamfara State.
The visit served as an opportunity to strengthen ties between the state government and the FRSC, particularly in areas of mutual concern such as safety and security.
During the meeting, Commander Tijani expressed his appreciation for Governor Lawal’s unwavering dedication to addressing the ongoing security challenges in Zamfara.
He commended the governor for his proactive efforts and commitment, noting the tangible progress made in enhancing safety across the state since the beginning of his administration.
According to Tijani, the efforts have not only helped reduce insecurity but have also fostered a safer environment for the people.
Governor Lawal, in response, reassured Commander Tijani of his administration’s full commitment to working closely with all security agencies, including the FRSC, to maintain and improve security conditions in Zamfara.
He emphasized that the safety of citizens remains a top priority and that his government will continue to seek effective strategies and collaborative measures to ensure that Zamfara is a safe place for all residents.
