Popular media personality and critic, Solomon Buchi, has expressed strong disapproval of UK celebrity pastor Tobi Adegboyega, following a viral clip showing the pastor clubbing with Nigerian music star, Davido.
The video, which surfaced on Saturday, captured Adegboyega sitting beside Davido in a club, sparking discussions online. The clip drew even more attention as it came amid the ongoing rift between Davido and fellow artist Wizkid, who were also seen at the same venue.
In response to the viral video, Solomon Buchi took to his X account to criticize Adegboyega, calling him a disgrace to the pastoral office. Buchi suggested that the pastor should abandon his religious role and focus on his lavish lifestyle instead.
“Tobi Adegboyega is definitely not a pastor. Such a shame to the office of a pastor. You can’t be a pastor and be like that. He should just drive his luxury cars, club, and enjoy his Gucci. Stop mixing it with Jesus,” Buchi wrote.
This reaction has stirred mixed opinions online, with some agreeing with Buchi’s stance while others defended Adegboyega’s choices.
