When we told you that life is spiritual, believe us. When we told you that beyond all the shenanigans going on, in and around the political circles in Nigeria system, there is a force beyond the foretelling, forecasting and foreknowing of mere men, believe us. When we also told you that there is karma and the law of retributive justice, I beg of you, believe us.
We are legion, we say little, but see far beyond the ephemerals. We may be listening to the lyrics of leaders’ mediocrity, the dance of deception of the led and the rhymes of those at the corridor of power, who sell their rights and conscience for peanuts, but within, at that very corner where the still voice of divinity becomes loud and compelling, we hear a lot.
If I told you that Nigeria isn’t doomed, however awry the situation may look, believe me. If I told you that the dry bones of Nigeria already at a grinding point will be “freshed and fleshed”, please believe me. If I told you that all things, the bad, the ugly, the stench, the good will eventually work together for the upliftment of Nigeria and Nigerians, please believe me.
If I told you to disregard the immediate consequences of our woes, pains and frustrations and focus more on the ultimate gifts from God to us at the end, please do so.
Nigeria and Nigerians are presently an oyster. The challenges are mere grains of sand causing irritation for a pearl to emerge.
The no-medal win by Nigeria contingents in this 2024 Olympics is a clear sign that the demands of # Endbadgovernment protest for ten days were divinely approved. Those demands are the basic needs of Nigerians not their wants. The government may play politics with, massage it, dance around it, tag it as mere propaganda from opposition etc the truth is NON-MEDAL PERFORMANCE of Nigeria contingents is truth spoken loud and clear to the current realities in Nigeria.
Non-MEDAL performance of Nigerian athletes as shameful and abysmal it may seem, is a message on a platter to the Nigeria government to listen and act accordingly. It is no joke! No propaganda! No lose guarding.
For the benefit of the uninitiated, medal here isn’t an ornament. It is much more. It is Making Economic Development Advancement Lasting ( MEDAL)
My question is, what is the basic demands of Endbadgovernment protest? MEDAL!
What are those economic development advancement we want and in a lasting manner?
Some examples of economic development advancements the youths protested for ten days include:
1. Infrastructure Improvements: Building roads and other infrastructure projects that geared towards stimulating economic growth
2. Technological Innovation: Advancements in technology that can drive economic development by creating new industries and job opportunities.
3. Education and Skill Development: Investing in education and training programs that. can lead to a more skilled workforce, which in turn attracts businesses and drive economic growth.
4. Foreign Direct Investment: Encouraging foreign companies to invest in our country, a sure way to boost economic development by creating jobs, transferring technology, and increasing production capacity.
5. Small Business Development: Supporting the growth of small businesses through loans, training, and mentorship programs which have the capacity to contribute to economic development, fostering entrepreneurship and creating local employment opportunities.
These are the few MEDAL the protesters were out in the streets asking for which the government appear lacklustre in addressing.
I ask, how then could our Olympic athletes come back with medals? Nobody gives what he does not have.
Let the Government give the youths, the poorly treated masses the MEDAL they demand and other sporting medals will come in due time. Until this is done, coming back medaless, might afterall be the new normal in this administration. Karma and law of retributive justice will be in constant replay mode.
