American singer Jason Derulo shared his story about breaking his neck in 2013 while practicing for his world tour.
He said the accident happened in the gym, which made him cancel the tour.
In a recent episode of Paris Hilton’s podcast ‘I Am Paris,’ Derulo explained that he thought it might be the end for him.
His recovery took seven months.
“I broke my neck in 2013,” he remembered. “I was preparing for my world tour with a trainer. The trainer asked me to do back tucks for endurance. I slipped during one of the back tucks and landed on my head, breaking my C-2 vertebrae.”
“As soon as it happened, I heard a big crack and thought, ‘Oh no, is this the end?’”
