TD Africa Partners Elon Musk’s Starlink to Launch Mini Dish in Nigeria

TD Africa has announced a strategic partnership with Elon Musk’s Starlink to introduce the Starlink Mini Dish to the Nigerian market.
This collaboration aims to democratize internet access by providing high-speed connectivity even in remote areas, transforming the digital landscape in Africa.
Starlink, the satellite internet project developed by SpaceX, has been pivotal in enhancing global internet connectivity.
The introduction of the Starlink Mini Dish marks a significant step forward in expanding internet reach, particularly in underserved and rural communities.
The Starlink Mini Dish is a more compact and affordable version of the standard Starlink dish.
It offers 100 Mbps download speed, 11.5 Mbps upload speed, and 23 ms latency, ensuring high-quality internet experiences for users.
Since its introduction, Starlink has garnered significant public interest in Nigeria. By Q4 2023, it had become the country’s third-largest internet service provider by subscriber number, highlighting its growing influence in the market.
The Starlink Mini Dish will be available for purchase on Konga.com at competitive prices, making it accessible to a wider audience.
This initiative is expected to have a transformative impact on the digital landscape in Africa, particularly by enhancing connectivity in remote and underserved regions.
TD Africa and Starlink’s partnership is poised to bring about significant advancements in internet accessibility, contributing to the broader goal of bridging the digital divide across the continent.
