Dortmund Reaches Champions League Final for the First Time in 11 Years

—

Borussia Dortmund has beaten French champions Paris Saint-Germain to reach the UEFA Champions League final for the first time since 2013.

Dortmund defeated PSG in both legs with a 2-0 aggregate to secure their spot in the final.

First half: It’s all stalemate after the conclusion of the first 45 minutes at the Parc Des Princes, as Dortmund is positive to reach their first UEFA Champions League final in 11 years.

Regardless of PSG taking the lead in stats, Dortmund remains resilient and has rebuffed every attack posed by the French side.

Second half: Hummels’ 50th-minute header separated both sides after 90 minutes while Dortmund advanced to the final of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2013 when current Liverpool manager, Jürgen Klopp, guided them to their second-ever final against Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.

Dortmund will lock horns with the winner between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid tomorrow when both sides decide the final round of the semis, having played to a 2-2 draw in Germany in the first leg.
