Operatives of the Nigerian Police from the Oko-Oba Division of the Lagos State Police Command, on Sunday, arrested two suspects for breaking into a shop and stealing some items.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday.Â
“Stop and Search: At about 6:30am, patrol officers from Oko-Oba Division intercepted 24-year-old Adeyemi Ibrahim and 45-year-old Taiwo Adisa in a mini bus popularly known as Korope, with one generator, one gas cylinder and one bluetooth speaker.Â
Upon questioning, it turned out they just broke into a shop in Iju-Ishaga area and stole the items.” The tweet stated.
Hundeyin noted that the shop owner has been contacted for return of property as prosecution follows.
