Nigerian army neutralizes terrorists, recovers arms and rustled cattle in Borno and Katsina

The Nigerian Army, along with other security groups neutralised terrorists in the North East region on Wednesday.

They group worked together to clear out areas where the Boko Haram/Islamic State of West Africa Province group was hiding in Gori, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

During the operation, there was a big fight, but the troops managed to defeat one terrorist, rescue some stolen cows, and find weapons and bullets left behind by the terrorists.

Among the recovered items were 2 AK-47 rifles, 38 rounds of special ammunition, AK-47 magazines, an Improvised Explosive Device, and a motorcycle.

In another operation in Katsina State, troops attacked terrorist camps and killed two terrorists in Garin Rinji, Batsari Local Government Area.

Strong weapons were used  to overpower the insurgents and destroy their hiding spots. Additionally, two motorcycles and 25 stolen animals were found during the operation.

The troops are continuing their efforts to get rid of the terrorists in the area by keeping up their offensive operations.

Borno and Katsina states are experiencing a lot of problems because of attacks by groups called Boko Haram and bandits.

These groups are causing a lot of trouble for the people who live there. People are scared and worried about their safety because these attacks happen often and can be very violent.

The government is trying to stop these attacks and keep people safe, but it’s not easy. Many families have been affected, and they need help and support to feel safe again.
