According to reports making the rounds, presidential Candidate of the Labour Party at the 2023 general elections Peter Obi is allegedly planning to unite with the former Kaduna state governor Nasir El-rufai in Social Democratic Party.
This is coming amid the party wrangling going on between the Nigerian Labour Congress and the leadership of Labour Party chaired by Julius Abure.
In an intense move to oust the Labour Party National Chairman Julius Abure, the Labour Union has indicated plans to take ownership and custody of their political party.
It would be recalled that there was a judgment of court that states that Nigeria Labour Congress owns the Labour Party.
