Zaria Muslims hold special prayer over hardship

—

In Zaria, Kaduna State, a group of Muslims gathered at the Mallawa Eid praying ground to pray for Allah’s help with the difficulties facing Nigerians. Both men and women from different parts of the town came together for this special prayer.

The Chief Imam of Bakin Kasuwa Jumaat Mosque (Tudun Wada), Mallam Muhammadu Sani Labudda, led the prayer.

He talked about how hard life has become for people in Nigeria and how they need Allah’s help.

He said “Prices of things we need, like food, keep going up, especially as Ramadan, a holy month for Muslims, is coming.”

After the prayer, Suleiman Ibrahim, who leads the Islamiyya schools association in Zaria, spoke.

He said that now is the time for people to come together and make their faith stronger. He also said that people should help those who are in need and avoid doing bad things to ask for forgiveness.

Before that, Sheikh Muhammadu Dan Tine Habibi and Umar Dikko Mai shinkafa from Fitiyanul Islam Zaria talked about why special prayers are important when things are tough. They said that people should always be good and ask for forgiveness to get Allah’s help.
