Ndume distributes 30,436 bags of rice and maize as palliatives to 9 Borno LGs on behalf of FG

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South and is the Senate Majority Whip, has joined hands with the Federal Government’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to help people during tough times.

Together, they’ve announced plans to give out 30,436 bags of rice and grains in nine local areas. This is meant to ease the current economic struggles faced by many.

To ensure fairness, Senator Ndume set up a committee to oversee the distribution. This committee, led by former deputy governor Alhaji Abubakar Jato, is working hard to make sure everything is done transparently.

The distribution started in Bayo Local Government headquarters, where 16,886 bags of rice and 13,550 bags of maize were handed out.

Senator Ndume thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting this initiative to help people facing economic challenges.

The beneficiaries include not just ordinary people, but also members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), community leaders, and security forces like the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) who have been working alongside the military to fight against criminals.

This isn’t the first time Senator Ndume has helped his people. He’s been doing it through various initiatives like giving out millions in support, empowering people, and introducing programs like ‘Trader Monie’ to help small-scale business owners in his constituency.
