NAICOM rejects the phony employment website

—

A bogus recruitment website that purported to be affiliated with the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has been denied by the commission.

The commission issued a warning to Nigerians about phony employment websites that seem to be recruiting agencies.

NAICOM only supports its platform for recruitment; it does not support any other website, according to a statement issued by the commission.

It went on to state that NAICOM is not currently doing a hiring drive or providing grants or other forms of financial aid and that any information to the contrary is untrue and ought to be ignored.

“Any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from interacting with fraudulent recruitment websites or individuals who misrepresent the Commission will not be held against NAICOM,” the statement read.

The oversight body pointed out that legitimate inquiries about funding, hiring, or any other official correspondence from NAICOM have to be made through its authorized lines of communication.

“Any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from using phony recruitment websites or people who misrepresent the commission will not be covered by NAICOM.”

Salami stated, “Please refer to our official website or contact us through our recognized communication channels for accurate information regarding the recruitment, grants, or any other official communication from NAICOM.”
