One Usman Godwin Ayara, a resident of Arum Sarki in Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has allegedly killed his friend on Tuesday the 19th of December, 2023.
Reports say that the deceased, simply identified as, Packer was said to have been stabbed with a knife on the chest following a heated political dispute that ensued between him and the accused person.
It was gathered that the deceased who has been a good friend and also resident of the same village with the suspect, was reported to have died from injuries sustained in the stabbing moments before he could receive any medical attention.
Confirming the incident, a source who preferred anonymity told The News Chronicle that until the the recent killing, Mr Godwin has been allegedly involved in other serial acts of murder that have not come to public glare.
Meanwhile, the suspect has since been apprehended by security operatives in the area for further investigations and legal action.
As at the time of filing this report, body of the deceased has since been deposited in a mortuary at a nearby health facility.
