Report has it that a 100 level student of Microbiology Department in the Nasarawa State University Keffi has taken her own life.
It was gathered that the deceased, with name withheld, committed the suicide using a poisonous substance that led to her death.
Efforts made by her colleagues using palm oil to subdue the impact of the poison and bring the deceased back to life failed.
Though sources say that her decision may have nothing to do with her love relationship, it was however gathered that it may not be unconnected to family problems.
As at the time of filing this report, there has not been any suicidal note alluding any reason to her decision.
Remains of the deceased have since been deposited at a nearby morgue.
