NEMA provides relief materials to those affected by the Tudun Biri bombings

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) recently provided assistance to those affected by the Tudun Biri bombings in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The purpose of this aid, as stated by the agency, is not to compensate for the loss of lives but to offer some relief to the victims.

Expressing condolences to the Kaduna State Government for the lives lost in the incident, the agency disclosed a comprehensive list of items included in the donation.

These items encompass both medical supplies and daily necessities.

Among the medical supplies donated were surgical and disposable gloves, drip sets, cutting bandages, plasters, cotton wool, hand sanitizers, syringes, and needles.

These essentials are crucial for providing immediate medical care to those injured in the unfortunate incident.

On the food front, NEMA contributed 500 bags each of rice, maize, and beans, along with 500 cartons of spaghetti.

Additionally, 50 kegs of vegetable oil, 50 bags of salt, and 50 cartons of tin tomatoes were part of the relief package to support the nutritional needs of the affected population.

Non-food items distributed included 500 pieces each of blankets, plastic buckets, plastic cups, men’s wear, women’s wear, and children’s wear.

These items aim to address the broader needs of the affected individuals and families, providing both comfort and essential daily-use items.

The agency made it clear that the medicaments have already been delivered to specific healthcare facilities, including the 44 Army Reference Hospital and Barau Dikko Specialist Teaching Hospital, both located in Kaduna.

This ensures that the medical institutions equipped to handle such situations receive the necessary resources to treat the injured and save lives.

NEMA’s extensive donation encompasses a wide range of items, covering medical supplies, food essentials, and non-food items, with the ultimate goal of alleviating the suffering of those impacted by the Tudun Biri bombings in Kaduna State.
